Warranty Policy & Terms

Manufacturing Defect Warranty for Automotive Batteries*: 12 months or 20,000km whichever comes first for petrol private use vehicles, or 6 months or 20,000km whichever comes first for taxi/bus/truck/commercial/diesel/E-hailing/business use/company vehicles.

*Battery Ranger may offer different warranty terms for some batteries which will be documented in our job order bill.

All customers with our official documentation and records in our systems as proof of purchase are eligible for warranty claim service within our service coverage zones. Please call +6011-8888 0003 for warranty service if found battery is not working within warranty period/millage. Our technicians shall come to service within our office hours on a best effort basis on the same day or next day. Temporary battery will be provided if the problematic battery is required to be sent back for further factory inspection. New battery will be delivered to customers to replace the temporary battery if found the problematic battery is indeed a manufacturing defect. The replaced battery will carry the remaining warranty based on the original date of purchase and mileage during purchase. Outdoor warranty service is chargeable while walk in warranty service to our outlets is free of charge. However, services that are out of the scope of warranty claim, such as recharging service of battery caused by idling of vehicle are chargeable.

Please be advised that battery discharged/damaged caused by vehicle alternator issue, or overcharging (above 14.5V), or undercharging (below 13.6V), or wiring issue, or forgot to switch off lights, or long storage without start (> 1~2 weeks), or user negligence of low usage, or improper use of electrical accessories, or user abuse, or any issues not related to battery manufacturing defects are not covered under warranty. For eligibility of battery warranty, customers shall be responsible for maintaining the proper and sufficient battery charging by ensuring vehicle alternator/wiring at proper working conditions. We reserve the right to reject warranty claims for improper vehicle engine/wiring modifications not certified by the vehicle manufacturer.

Warranty outdoor service charge (refer to table below) will be charged for each on-site warranty visit requested by customer within our service coverage.On-site warranty visits are not applicable for areas out of our service coverage. If customer refuse to the outdoor service charges, we reserve the right to reject the request. Customers are also welcome to direct visit our Battery Ranger Warranty Centre for warranty inspection. No service charge for walk-in customers.

Battery Ranger shall only be responsible for the warranty coverage of the car battery sold by Battery Ranger and shall not be responsible for any issue arise for the vehicle or the vehicle warranty as it is entirely the customer's decision and consent to install a different specification battery. Please be advised that any further system reset (if required) after battery replacement is to be carried out by customers at their own service centers at customers' own cost.

For conditions and situations that are not mentioned above, the manufacturers' terms and conditions shall apply.

Goods sold are not refundable. Please note that there is a RM40 cancellation charges if the customer decides to cancel order when goods are delivered.
